Moved by the story, I was wondering how far iPhone apps have come. With thousands of apps are available in various categories, it is tricky to choose most useful of them. So which are the best? Which are the must have? After walking through hundreds of them, I have found these 10 worth having.

1. Google Mobile App

Google mobile app brings Google and its services to your iPhone. App links to Google services such as, Gmail, YouTube, Blogger, Picasa and Google Docs. You can search your contacts and emails. Google Suggest helps you typing your queries. New feature also allows you to speak your queries in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.

2.Yelp

Looking for a restaurant, pub or a gas station nearby? If yes, Yelp for iPhone is here to help. You can use it to search for places to eat, shop, drink, relax, and play. You can also read reviews from an active community of in-the-know locals with Yelp.

3. Facebook 3.0

Facebook 3.0 is the latest version of Facebook’s iPhone app. The main interface gives you access to news feed, profile, friends list, messages inbox, chat, friends requests, events, photos and notes icons. You can open these applications from there. The news feed app shows everything you like to see on the desktop version of Facebook.
