Google Buzz Features

On Tuesday, Google launched Buzz, a social networking and media sharing product that has almost all the features a product of its should have. Google Buzz is integrated with Gmail and allows you to share updates, photos, events and videos. You can also start conversations and share your ideas with the whole world or just your closest friends. Existing Twitter, Picasa, Flicker and Google Reader’s users can import updates directly to Buzz stream.

Buzz @Gmail

Automatic Setup: You need not to setup your account. It automatically follows people you email and chat most with Gmail.

Inbox Integration: Comments get sent right to your inbox so it's easy to keep the conversation going.

Media Sharing: It focuses on sharing media with utmost ease. To make users’ experience rich, it uses user interface of Gmail and shortcut keys.

Connect Sites: Import your stuff from Twitter, Picasa, Flickr, and Google Reader.

Public and Private Sharing: You can dictate your privacy by choosing whom you want to share media with. Public things are shared with Google profiles and friends of friends.

Real Time Updates: Comments and updates flood in your inbox in real time. No need to refresh.

Filters: Buzz recommends interesting posts and keeps out ones you're likely to skip.

Buzz @Mobile

Uses Google maps to see buzz near you or anywhere on the map.

You will see the buzz icon in the top right corner of the google.com homepage. Just tap on the icon to trigger the posting box.

The voice shortcut, which is available in the quick search widget on Android and in Google Mobile App on iPhone, allows you to post buzz without typing anything.
